This is not the standard "Show" where you pay to look at a lot of very nice show cars and found all the Daily Drivers in the parking lot. Where 90% of us were paying to be non-participants. This an exclusive BMW 2002 event - an Event (with a capital E) for the whole family. Lots of shade trees and lots of grass. Everyone can participate - Mom, Dad, the kids, the boyfriend, the girlfriend, the beautiful cars, the not so beautiful cars. Bring a picnic basket, folding chairs and a blanket. There is something for everyone - games for adults, for kids (supervised), 2002 Vendors, and 100's of people of like interest in one place.

So drive in or push it in, we have a place for you! I can't think of anything else you can do with the whole family, for a whole weekend that only costs $20.

The only way to get a commemorative T-shirt is to order it when you register. Counting on one being available at the 02 Classic will bring disappointment.

Shirts are white with this year's unique logo. All sizes S- XL are $ 18.00 each, XXL & XXXL add $2.. This year's 02 Classic Logo features two 2002's at the capital.

Sacramento is the Capital of California. The Sacramento River, Interstates 5, 50 and 80 run through it making for easy access from the north, south, east and west. For more information on Sacramento click here.

The registration fee for the 02 Classic is only $20 per 2002 and everyone in it. Participants and their guests are entitled to participate in all the activities for adults and kids.

Trophies and Awards

There are 8 trophies to be awarded during this 02 Classic weekend, some "routine" honors, and others that are unique to this event.

We have no judges, you the participants express what you like best in the Things participating. Since this is an "open class" show, your 2002 could be considered for several different trophies. Those who invest lots of time and money on a show car deserve their trophies of course, but we feel that every 2002 is special. Though we aren't able to award a trophy to each car registered, we have included some unexpected and unusual categories for the "garden variety" car too. Maybe one of them will end up going home with you!

The 02 Classic is an informal, Fall treat. The emphasis here is on having fun, pure and simple.
