Episodes 5-8

Welcome to the second installment, episodes 5 through 8, of the Esperanto course Passport to the Whole World.

Episode 5

Perhaps you remember what happened, but the philosopher, Georgo, does not. Remember, we still have to resolve whether Ruselo, the shepherd, stole the money. A note fixed to Helena's sculpture could cause some misunderstandings. Moreover, Karlo, the runner, faints and falls. But why? After all, he's an athlete, and should be very healthy!

Episode 6

A doctor analyzes Karlo's fainting spell and determines he had some sort of shock. But what from? She also has to respond to Florabunda, the girl with the boutique that is going under, since she is constantly about to faint. Ken, the reporter, tries to comfort Florabunda. In the meanwhile, the philosopher comes to his senses and explains what happened to the money - but the detective will not be swayed - he has found his culprit, Ruselo, and is determined to prosecute him.

Episode 7

Ruselo has seen his sweetheart in the arms of Ken, but is it all a mistake? Will Ruselo's heart be mended? In the meantime, the detective has found out that Florabunda's been driving without a license - and is sadistically overjoyed to have another victim to prosecute. However, when they get to court, the detective seems to have lost the notes he took so diligently. Meanwhile, Ruselo's name has been cleared, but he doesn't know about it. Will Helena get to the airport before Ruselo succeeds in fleeing the country?

Episode 8

The doctor has a solution for Florabunda's financial problems. But will the doctor's prescription actually work? Will Florabunda actually follow the doctor's regimen? At the same time, Ruselo catches Karlo stashing packages in the park - are they drugs? And Ruselo gains hope as he finds the doctor also likes books. But is it a false hope? And is Ruselo really off the hook?

Well, will Florabunda get out of her financial difficulties? Find out in the next four episodes!
